You'll serve as the primary HR partner for a Distribution Center of approximately 50 associates, providing support across employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, leadership development, engagement, and compliance. What you'll do:- HR Partnership & Leadership Support
- Serve as the primary HR partner for Distribution Center leadership and associates.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, associate development, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
- Build strong relationships with associates and leaders to promote an engaged and productive work environment.
- Support implementation of corporate HR programs and initiatives at the local level.
- Employee Relations
- Address associate concerns and partner with leaders to resolve workplace issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct investigations related to policy violations, employee complaints, and workplace concerns.
- Advise managers on corrective action, performance improvement plans, and documentation.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead local hourly and salaried hiring needs.
- Lead the interview and selection processes as needed.
- Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure successful integration of new associates.
- Support workforce planning efforts and staffing strategies to meet operational needs.
- Performance & Talent Management
- Coach managers on goal setting, performance feedback, development planning, and accountability.
- Support the annual performance review and talent assessment processes.
- Identify development opportunities and support associate growth and career progression.
- Associate Engagement & Retention
- Promote initiatives that strengthen associate engagement and reinforce SiteOne's values.
- Monitor turnover and workforce trends and recommend actions to improve retention.
- Facilitate associate feedback discussions and support action planning efforts.
- Coordinate local recognition and engagement activities.
- Compliance & HR Administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Partner with Benefits, Leave Administration, and HR Centers of Excellence on associate matters as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Support audits, reporting requirements, and HR data management activities.
Compensation:- Compensation for this role is targeted between $95,000 and $115,000 annually. Final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, performance incentives, and internal equity.
Skills We Are Seeking- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and leadership coaching.
- Experience in distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, retail, or other operational environments preferred.
- Strong employee relations and investigation skills.
- Ability to build credibility and trust with leaders and associates.
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification a plus, but not required
