Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (Accounting strongly preferred).
• 7+ years of payroll experience with multi-entity and multi-state payrolls for 750-1,000+ employees preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax processes for multi-state compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, custom report creation, and data analytics.
• Solid accounting foundation including reconciliations and payroll journal entries.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and audit readiness best practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll for 12 entities across 5 EINs, including U.S. and Canada.
• Ensure accuracy of pay groups, deductions, garnishments, and tax jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with the Tax Department on compliance and new state setups.
• Address payroll inquiries, ensuring timely resolution with HR Business Partners.
• Support payroll accounting entries related to stock options and W-2 reconciliation.
• Optimize ADP Workforce Now processes and develop advanced payroll reports.
• Maintain payroll files adhering to SOX standards and audit requirements.
