HRIS Systems Analyst III based in our
Irvine, CA office* . Reporting to the HRIS Manager, this role is responsible for the design, configuration, testing, implementation, administration, and ongoing optimization of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud HCM.
The HRIS Systems Analyst III serves as a key technical resource, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to support Oracle Cloud HCM modules, deliver system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, support upgrades and testing activities, and identify opportunities to improve processes and user experience.

General Responsibilities- Configure, develop, and independently manage multiple Oracle Cloud HCM modules. Understand and evaluate the impact of system changes across HCM modules and enterprise processes.
- Perform system maintenance, including the review, testing, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud HCM modules, including Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Career Development, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Absence Management, and HCM Analytics.
- Develop complex reports and queries using Oracle Cloud HCM reporting tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP), and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). Create standard and custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards to meet business needs. Maintain data integrity through reporting, analysis, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with HR functional experts and other departments to understand functional needs and define requirements.
- Provide production support by researching and resolving system issues, unexpected results, and process gaps; perform scheduled activities; and recommend solutions or alternative approaches to meet business requirements.
- Apply a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM functionality and design to identify and implement process improvements that support organizational growth and evolving business needs.
- Optimize and automate HCM processes using Oracle technologies, including Fast Formulas, Flows, Value Sets, HCM Extracts, and related tools.
- Perform audits on HR processes, documents and data. Take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and consequences.
- Maintain expertise across the Oracle Cloud HCM platform by staying current on new functionality, technologies, and industry best practices through ongoing learning and professional development.
- Maintains awareness of technological advancements and current trends in HRIS. Continuously increase both HR and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
- Develop user procedures and training materials, conduct training, support adoption of new functionality, and participate in user groups and knowledge-sharing activities.
Work Schedule and Benefits- Full-time position, Exempt
- Office hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Department needs will call for occasional overtime
- Pay Range: $119,000 - $137,000, plus bonus

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Oracle Cloud HCM certification strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience configuring and developing solutions within Oracle Cloud HCM.
- 7+ years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR and multiple modules, including Benefits, Compensation, Career Development, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Absence Management, and HCM Analytics (OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI).
- 9+ years of combined experience in Information Systems, HRIS, or enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with SQL and Oracle Fast Formula development.
- Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, data management, and system design principles, with the capability to make sound business decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, provide technical support, and deliver end-user training.
- Proven experience documenting processes, conducting audits, and performing diagnostic testing.
- Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Asana preferred.
Work Location DetailsIn-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.
Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
