Full Job Description
As the HR Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the technical ownership and day-to-day management of the organization's HR technology ecosystem, with Workday as the core Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. Owns the technical solutions, governance, and support of all HR systems and integrations into and out of Workday, including connections with SAP and third-party vendor systems. Partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant HR data flow across the enterprise.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources IT Technology team.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new HR systems and solutions.
  • Recommend changes to HR CoE procedures by developing systematic and automated processes to improve work efficiency. This may include anything related to Workday ecosystem and other technical solutions used by the HR team.
  • Prioritize and oversee the HR technology project portfolio, balancing business priorities, resource availability, and system enhancement opportunities.
  • Partner with HR Leadership and the CHRO to develop and maintain the HR technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance employee experience, and support organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the primary HR technology liaison to HR leadership, IT, and key business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate with IT staff on system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the field of Workday and HR systems to bring innovative solutions and make recommendations for improvements or new technologies.
  • Manage and oversee HR's full technical systems landscape, maintaining secure, available and performant systems.
  • Partner with HR leadership to establish and maintain HR technology governance practices, data standards, and system controls to support compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
  • Delegates tasks to team members and third-party consultants and vendors ensuring everyone is working on the right projects.
  • Must know how to oversee technical issues and train systems analysts.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and functional standards for HR systems and integrations.


WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in HR technology, HRIS, or HR IT roles required.
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Experience supporting HR system integrations with SAP and third-party vendors preferred.
  • Experience supporting HR shared services or large HR user communities preferred.
  • Workday HCM experience required; knowledge of multiple Workday modules preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, and reporting preferred.
  • Workday certification or HR technology certifications preferred.

  • Travel to our Schofield, WI campus is required 10-25% of time
  • Ideal candidates will be within commuting distance to Schofield, WI or Minneapolis, MN.

The compensation for this role includes base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional variable compensation based on achieving specific performance metrics. The starting base pay range for this position is $144,462-$178,453 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
