Salary Range:
$73,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year.Pay Transparency Statement:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across our US locations. The HR Senior Generalist (Level 2), an individual contributor, acts as the main liaison for all internal and external workplace investigations. This role requires the individual to ensure that all employee relations issues, ethics complaints, and internal and external escalations are addressed with meticulous objectivity and thoroughness, while strictly adhering to company policy and all federal, state and local laws.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Investigations: Manage and ensure closure of employment investigations including those related to allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace misconduct and violations of company policy. Also, investigating any reports originating from internal reports, anonymous hotlines, or external regulatory bodies, as appropriate.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise, legally defensible records of interviews, evidence, and findings. Prepare comprehensive written reports for leadership.
Legal Alignment and Investigative Integrity:
Apply working knowledge of key U.S. employment law frameworks relevant toinvestigations and outcomes, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA (asapplicable), NLRA considerations, and state/local anti-discrimination and leavelaws.
Partner with legal counsel on high-risk matters, legal claims, and litigation holds, while maintaining an independent fact-finding role.
Resolution & Recommendations: Recommend appropriate corrective actions or process improvements to prevent recurrence of issues, identify trends, support consistent application of discipline and remediation, and prevent retaliation.
Strategic Communication: Expertly synthesize complex investigative findings into concise, high-impact summaries for key stakeholders, including executive leadership. Confidently present neutral, evidence-based conclusions to senior stakeholders, facilitating the leadership response phase by providing actionable insights.
Ensure a comprehensive closed-loop process by verifying that systemic issues are addressed, stakeholders are appropriately debriefed, and organizational risks are mitigated.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor27s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 64 years of professional HR experience, with a heavy focus on Employee Relations or Investigations.
Legal Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of US Federal and State employment laws.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to remain neutral and empathetic during high-stress interviews.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems and case management software.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR).
Experience representing an employer in responses to the EEOC or Department of Labor.
