The Opportunity

The HR Process Partner supports the design, documentation, governance, and continuous improvement of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role works with HR functional teams, HRIS, Information Technology, and other stakeholders to translate process decisions into clear documentation, independently execute assigned process and project work, and maintain disciplined project operating rhythms. The role contributes to major HR initiatives, technology implementations, and HR-wide transformation programs while helping embed consistent practices in process management, continuous improvement, and project execution.

What you will do?
  • Create and maintain end-to-end HR process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, work instructions, job aids, templates, controls, and role and handoff definitions.
  • Maintain the HR process repository, process taxonomy, documentation standards, version control, ownership records, review schedules, and approval history.
  • Facilitate process discovery and documentation sessions with process owners, subject matter experts, HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, HRIS, and other stakeholders.
  • Document and analyze current-state processes, identify pain points, control gaps, and improvement opportunities, and develop practical future-state process recommendations in partnership with process owners and subject matter experts.
  • Lead defined continuous improvement efforts and support larger initiatives by gathering and analyzing data, completing root cause analysis, documenting opportunities, developing recommendations, and tracking approved improvements through implementation.
  • Manage assigned HR projects and workstreams, including project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, actions, stakeholder coordination, and status reporting.
  • Support major HR initiatives, technology implementations, and transformation programs through requirements documentation, process design, testing coordination, readiness activities, communications, training support, go-live preparation, and stabilization tracking.
  • Support administration of the HR project portfolio and backlog, including intake records, status, prioritization inputs, resource needs, dependencies, and next actions.
  • Prepare recurring project and portfolio reporting that provides visibility into progress, upcoming milestones, risks, overdue actions, dependencies, and decisions required.
  • Coordinate operating rhythms for active initiatives, including agendas, materials, meeting notes, decision logs, action follow-up, and escalation of unresolved items.
  • Apply established project management, process improvement, and documentation methods consistently and recommend refinements to templates, tools, and standards.
  • Track process and project measures, validate data quality, and support reporting on cycle time, service levels, adoption, quality, efficiency, and benefits realization.
  • Promote a practical continuous improvement mindset by helping HR teams use standard tools, templates, and process-thinking practices in day-to-day work.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in HR operations, business process management, process documentation, project management or coordination, continuous improvement, transformation, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing process maps, standard operating procedures, work instructions, project plans and trackers, status reports, or similar operational documentation.
  • Working knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, service design, or comparable methodologies.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects, process improvement initiatives, or technology implementations, including testing, readiness, deployment, adoption, or stabilization activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions, build effective stakeholder relationships, and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex discussions and process information into clear, practical, and usable documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, as well as process mapping or project management tools such as Visio, Blueworks, Lucidchart, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
