OverviewThe Senior Military Personnel Support Specialist (MILPERS) provides military personnel administration and executive support to U.S. Space Force and national security space organizations.
ResponsibilitiesMilitary Personnel Administration
- Provide senior-level military personnel support for officer and enlisted personnel actions.
- Process and track evaluations, awards, decorations, fitness reports, assignment actions, and personnel record updates.
- Support in-processing, out-processing, PCS coordination, readiness tracking, and duty status reporting.
- Maintain personnel trackers, suspense systems, and organizational manning reports.
Executive & Organizational Support
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, task tracking, and leadership reporting activities.
- Prepare executive correspondence, memoranda, reports, and briefing materials.
- Coordinate with military personnel centers, servicing organizations, and external mission partners.
- Maintain records management compliance for military personnel documentation.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Department of the Air Force, and U.S. Space Force guidance.
- Support process improvement initiatives focused on workflow efficiency and accountability.
- Handle sensitive personnel and operational information with discretion and professionalism.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000/Year, DOE
Skills RequiredRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting military personnel administration or related DoD personnel operations
- Experience supporting DoD, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or joint military organizations.
- Familiarity with military personnel processes, evaluations, awards, readiness reporting, and administrative workflows.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and task management skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. Space Force or national security space organizations.
- Experience supporting senior military leadership or headquarters staff environments.
- Familiarity with military personnel systems and records management processes.
