Summary:

The HR Operations Generalist is key to delivering HR services efficiently throughout the organization. Reporting to the Global HR Operations & Services Leader, this role acts as the initial contact for employee questions. It also supports HR operations across functions and maintains consistent compliance and policy standards.

This role bridges employee experience and operational success. You will manage case workflows, prioritize and increase inquiries, support large-scale lifecycle events, and help with HR compliance and policy updates. The ideal candidate is organized, diligent, and comfortable working within structured HR systems and processes in a fast-paced environment.

This role also supports the Payroll & Benefits teams, as well as M&A transactions.

This role can be performed entirely remotely.
What You'll Do

Manage HR Service Delivery & Case Management

  • Serve as the primary owner of HR ServiceNow ticket management, ensuring timely triage, categorization, assignment, and resolution of employee inquiries.
  • Act as Tier 1 support for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, time off, leaves, and general HR policies.
  • Advance complex inquiries to HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, or other Centers of Excellence (COEs) as appropriate.
  • Monitor case metrics and identify trends or recurring issues requiring process improvement.
  • Ensure service-level expectations are consistently met and detailed.
Support Employee Lifecycle Events
  • Support large-scale lifecycle transactions such as organizational restructures, acquisitions, and offboarding waves.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication between HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and managers during major lifecycle events.
  • Assist in validating data accuracy during bulk updates or organizational changes within Workday.
  • Ensure uniform implementation of standardized lifecycle processes and documentation.
Support HR Compliance & Policy Governance
  • Support the development, documentation, maintenance, and updating of HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Legal and HR leadership to ensure policies align with regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Support regulatory changes systemically, and lead the testing of updates to Workday compliance changes.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is audit-ready and centrally maintained.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reporting as required.
Partner Across HR & Operations
  • Offer operational assistance to the HR Operations Leader, HRIS Leader, Payroll Manager, and Benefits Manager, managing daily transactions within each of the functional areas.
  • Support integrations, data governance, and reporting needs.
  • Work with the Corporate Development team to support and coordinate the HR Integration process for newly closed acquisitions, working with Sellers and HR Operations team.
  • Assist with documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow improvements.
  • Support the rollout and integration of HR systems and tools.
  • Find opportunities to streamline service delivery and improve employee experience.
Drive Operational Excellence
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Track and report on HR service metrics and process efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations.
  • Ensure consistent communication and transparency across collaborator groups.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of HR experience in operations, shared services, or generalist roles.
  • Experience managing HR case management systems.
  • Solid grasp of employee lifecycle procedures and HR regulatory requirements.
  • 1-2 years' experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with Payroll and Benefits processes.
  • Some experience in an M&A environment preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in policy drafting and documentation.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Comfortable working in a well-organized, methodical environment.
  • Learning agility, curiosity, and problem-solving skills preferred.

Wealthspire is proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary range for this position is $70,000 -$92,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
