Full Job Description
Schneider Electric has an opening for a Human Resource Manager to support our Buffalo, New York facilities. This role will help support the ongoing integration of HR responsibilities into Schneider Electric's newly acquired Motivair business.

This role enables better, simpler, and faster HR execution by providing strong foundational support across core HR operations. It drives a people-centric, high-performing HR organization through disciplined HR data management, effective use of digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions, and continuous process improvement. The role focuses on simplifying and standardizing HR processes to increase speed, accuracy, and efficiency-while consistently delivering a positive employee and business experience across the employee lifecycle.

The HR Manager works in partnership with the local management team in leading HR processes including total rewards, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, wellness, learning, organizational efficiency, and employee relations. The HR Manager will support the manufacturing operations as part of the Motivair business scope. Our HR model will require you to have the skills to lead and/or support the following:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Drives implementation of multiple initiatives to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams and resources to achieve program and project milestones within established timeframes.

BUSINESS ADVISOR
  • Coach the leadership team, provide advice and support on all related HR matters
  • Adapt and anticipate manpower planning upon business needs
  • Support organizational design to respond to changing business needs
  • Contribute to design and organization development initiatives (skills, resources, processes) aligned with business and company strategies


CULTURE AND CHANGE ENABLER
  • Ensure deployment of SE People Strategy transformations; Leadership, Talent, Wellbeing, Learning, Diversity & Inclusion, and High Performance.
  • Support People engagement and entity transformations


HR OPERATIONAL FACILITATOR
  • Lead local HR processes with the support of HR Shared Services and HR CoEs to execute various HR activities including recruitment, induction, performance management, training, compensation and benefits analysis, succession planning, and creating value-added initiatives in close cooperation with plant leaders
  • Ensure that HR policies and leadership practices are implemented consistently


For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $117,600 - $176,400 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
