Full Job Description
Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Compensation: $115-130K + Bonus 10%

Location: Vista, CA (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary Human Resources leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership on all people-related matters.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.
  • Build and enhance scalable HR programs, policies, processes, and infrastructure to support a growing organization.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, California, Illinois, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, corrective action, and employee coaching.
  • Oversee leave administration, accommodations, and compliance with applicable employment regulations.
  • Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization and partner with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage onboarding and new hire integration programs to support employee success.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary liaison with brokers and external vendors.
  • Partner with Finance on payroll-related processes, audits, and employee data management.
  • Support compensation planning, salary administration, and incentive programs.
  • Strengthen and manage performance management programs, including goal-setting and Management by Objectives (MBO) initiatives.
  • Coach and develop managers on employee performance, leadership effectiveness, and talent development.
  • Identify and implement training and professional development programs that support organizational goals.
  • Maximize utilization of ADP and other HR technologies to improve efficiency, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance the employee experience and HR operational effectiveness.
  • Develop HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support organizational growth initiatives, including workforce planning, change management, and potential acquisition integrations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, policies, procedures, and HR documentation.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including broad HR generalist and leadership responsibilities.
    • Strong expertise in California employment law, employee relations, compliance, leave administration, and HR operations.
    • Demonstrated experience managing benefits administration and employee programs.
    • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or similar workforce environments.
    • Proven ability to operate independently and effectively manage a broad HR function.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
