Job Summary:
TASI Gas Flow, part of TASI Measurement, has a Human Resources Generalist opportunity in Monterey, California. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-
related duties on a professional level, coordinating with HR Manager in managing employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, talent acquisition and employment law compliance across multiple sites, currently located across California and Colorado. The candidate will sit at Sierra Instruments (Monterey) and will also support Fox Thermal Instruments (Marina), Air Monitor Corporation in Santa Rosa, CA and periodically at Vortek Instruments in Colorado if needed. This individual will report to the HR Manager of TASI Gas Flow. Responsibilities are varied, requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, independent judgment, and multitasking.
Responsibilities:
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations;
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form;
• Reviews bi-weekly payroll for accuracy and compliance with California Wage & Hour regulations;
• Conducts recruitment effort for personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and writes and places advertisements;
• Manages all aspects of the employee life cycle for employees at assigned locations. This includes on boarding, off boarding, leaves of absence, performance, etc.;
• Support management in our employee talent development initiatives
• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database;
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations;
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form;
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as requested by Supervisor or Manager
• Assist as requested in the human resource functions across TASI Measurement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related discipline
• 3+ years' experience in Human Resources
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of hiring processes
• Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
• Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
• Customer focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• UKG experience a plus
Physical Demands:
• Physical Demand(s): Can lift up to 10 lbs, sitting and stand for reasonable periods of time
• Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of time
• Hazard(s): Manufacturing environment
• Travel: Possibility of travel up to 20%

Pay Transparency:
We are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $80-85k/year, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
