We're searching for a driven, highly organized HR GeneralistAs an HR Generalist, you will act as the initial point of contact for employees on HR-related questions, maintain accurate records of employee data and policies, support onboarding and offboarding processes, and support audits and compliance requirements. This role reports to our Director of People Operations, Systems, and Analytics (POSA).
As a member of the POSA team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape company-wide processes, influence Aurora's culture, and support employees of all levels and teams.
In this role, you will- Effectively prioritize, triage, and resolve Tier 1-2 employee support tickets, submitted through Workday Help
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners, including IT, Workplace, Payroll, People, etc to appropriately resolve employee issues
- Process various transactions in our HRIS (Workday), including hires, terminations, data changes, and organizational changes
- Maintain employee knowledge base articles for people topics, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support employee onboarding process, including I-9 verification and occasionally leading orientation sessions
- Support employee offboarding process, including separation paperwork
- Regularly audit HRIS data to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including completion of mandatory reporting such as EEO-1, ACA, and HCSO
- Participate in additional ad-hoc projects as needed
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact with highly confidential data with sensitivity, professionalism, and integrity
- Strong people skills and an ability to connect and support employees at all levels
Desirable Qualifications- Deep understanding of HRIS, preferably Workday
The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $133,500 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
