Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supporting
Global Services & Support (GSS), you'll play a key role in advancing one of our most dynamic, customer-focused organizations. What You Will Do- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business priorities and long-term growth.
- Advise leaders on organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead talent reviews and succession planning to strengthen leadership capability and organizational readiness.
- Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives that enhance business performance and the employee experience.
- Leverage workforce analytics, digital tools, and AI-enabled insights to identify trends, guide decisions, and improve organizational performance.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated, enterprise-wide talent solutions.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture that reflects Thermo Fisher Scientific's values and leadership expectations.
Minimum QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Experience- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including strategic HR Business Partner experience in a global or matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders on organizational design, talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, and change management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with organizational priorities and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience leveraging workforce analytics, digital tools, and AI-enabled technologies to support strategic decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and influencing skills with a proven ability to build trusted partnerships and translate complex business challenges into practical, business-focused solutions.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting global organizations within life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, commercial, or R&D environments.
- Experience leading organizational transformation, business integration, or large-scale change initiatives.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification.
Travel: Approximately 10-15%, including occasional international travel.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in California is $174,600.00-$232,800.00.
