Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR professional, with a high tolerance for ambiguity to join the KLA Services HR team. We are a diverse, dynamic and persevering team that strives to be better, in an environment that has a customer mind-set, and with an approach that is honest, candid, and collaborative.


As an HR Business Partner, your primary role will be serving as a strategic HR partner supporting KLA Services organization. This role will primarily support US-based teams, with the opportunity and expectation to expand into broader regional or global scope over time. This will require collaboration with the business leadership of the group to find strategic HR solutions to business problems and challenges. This involves leading organizational changes, handling employee relations issues, mentoring managers and employees, clarifying HR policies, participating in company-wide HR programs including annual performance appraisals and engagement surveys, partnering with corporate HR COE teams in C&B, Ops & HRIS, Analytics, Talent Acquisition and Learning to address specific HR challenges, as well as handling other day-to-day HR tasks.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, translating business priorities into people strategies and actionable HR plans

  • Drive execution of enterprise HR programs and initiatives (e.g., performance management, engagement survey, compensation review cycles) within the business, ensuring alignment to organizational goals

  • Partner with leaders to identify organizational and talent needs, including workforce planning, organizational design, and capability development

  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructures and workforce transitions

  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation

  • Leverage workforce data and analytics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated HR solutions

  • Provide balanced perspectives to business that align business priorities with organizational and people considerations

Other requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, navigating complexity and ambiguity with a high degree of independence.

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work to deadlines.

  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity and insights is highly preferred

  • Ability to travel to US and global sites, as needed. The position may involve domestic and international travel, up to 20%.

  • Experience working in a global hi-tech environment is preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

Base Pay Range: $127,900.00 - $217,400.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA
