Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner provides human resources leadership and coaching to their assigned client group. The HR Business Partner is responsible for employee relations, training and development, organizational development, talent management, and strategic support within the business unit. As a partner to the organization the HR Business Partner is a critical member of the business unit’s management team.

 

• Responsible for employee relations and development of leaders to proactively and efficiently maintain a productive and positive culture.• Responsible for development, interpretation, and consistent application of corporate policies.• Responsible for swift investigation and resolution of employee relation matters.• Partner with business unit leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and morale.• Partner with Talent Acquisition team on sourcing, selecting, and onboarding of the best candidates.• Responsible for coordinating, developing, and/or delivering leadership training to all levels within the business unit.• Responsible for talent review and succession planning processes for assigned client group.• Responsible for training on policy, procedure, performance management, conflict resolution, compliance, and communication.• Responsible for providing strategic guidance and insight to effective operation of the business unit.• Partner with other HR functional areas to improve processes, share best practices, and drive operational efficiencies.• Responsible for facilitating open honest communication to drive a culture of continuous improvement.• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field from regionally accredited not-for-profit College or University.• Master’s degree in Human Resources, MBA, or similar preferred.• Five (5) years of experience in employee relations, training and development, and strategic HR alignment.• Experience with a variety of work teams preferred (manufacturing, technology, administration, field sales, and field technical support).• Professional certification in human resources preferred.• Project management certification preferred.• International experience helpful.
