Full Job Description
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a high energy, employee focused, hands-on professional to join our manufacturing and management team located in Tulsa, OK.

The HR Business Partner role plays a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations by partnering closely with plant leadership and front-line supervisors. This role is responsible for delivering both strategic and hands-on HR support to ensure a highly engaged, safety-focused, and performance-driven workforce.

The HR Business Partner will support hourly employees across production, maintenance, and distribution functions, ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and production goals, quality standards, and commitment to operational excellence.

What you will be doing:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, supervisors, and managers within manufacturing operations.
  • Align HR strategies with production goals, workforce demands, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues on the plant floor (attendance, performance, disciplinary actions, investigations).
  • Conduct fair, timely, and thorough investigations while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance.
  • Promote a culture centered on safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Operations to support high-volume hiring for hourly manufacturing roles.
  • Address workforce challenges such as turnover, absenteeism, and skills gaps.
  • Support onboarding programs to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into Ameristar's safety and quality culture.
  • Coach and develop front-line leaders on effective performance management, employee engagement, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure consistent application of Ameristar policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Support corrective action processes and continuous feedback practices.
  • Partner with Total Rewards on hourly wage structures, shift differentials, and equitable pay practices.
  • Support job evaluations, promotions, and workforce cost management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely HR transactions and documentation.


This skills and experience you need:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources or related field with HR experience.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in developing and championing performance management and employee development
  • Experience working in multi-shift or 24/7 production environments.
