Overview

The Manager, Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human resources practices with organizational goals. This role partners closely with leadership to drive talent strategy, workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

 

This is a hybrid position (3 days onsite) located in our Tulsa, OK office. 

 

Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent optimization.
  • Analyze business metrics to identify HR opportunities and drive data-informed decisions.

Talent Management & Development

  • Lead talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with recruiting teams.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Identify skill gaps and create training and leadership development programs.
  • Support succession planning and high-potential employee development.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on workplace issues.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance concerns.
  • Ensure a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.

Change Management

  • Support organizational change initiatives such as restructures, mergers, or process improvements.
  • Provide coaching to leaders on change leadership and communication.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions during organizational changes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Partner with compensation teams to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Support annual compensation cycles, promotions, and salary reviews.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with HR operations to ensure efficient delivery of HR services.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Lead engagement surveys and action planning.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Champion company values and foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred

Experience

  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR business partner or HR generalist roles
  • Experience supporting business leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success in employee relations, organizational development, and talent management

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution expertise

  • Highly skilled in MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
