NM Hospitality is seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead the EVEN Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown, an IHG-branded property built around wellness, balance, and an elevated guest experience. As General Manager, you'll own the full performance of the hotel - from guest satisfaction and brand standards to financial results and team leadership - and serve as the driving force behind the property's success in a competitive downtown market.
Responsibilities
• Own full P&L responsibility for the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Drive revenue performance in partnership with revenue management - ADR, RevPAR, and market share (RGI/MPI) against comp set
• Lead, hire, and develop department heads across front office, housekeeping, engineering, and food & beverage
• Ensure full compliance with IHG brand standards, including QA/QI scores and PIP requirements
• Own guest satisfaction performance and personally engage on escalated guest matters
• Maintain a safe, compliant property - overseeing risk management, life-safety systems, and licensing
• Partner with ownership on capital planning, renovations, and long-term property strategy
• Represent the hotel with IHG brand leadership, local community, and corporate accounts
• Build a strong, engaged team culture true to the EVEN Hotel brand
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hotel General Manager experience, IHG brand experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record managing P&L, budgets, and revenue performance in a branded hotel
• Deep knowledge of brand standards, PIP processes, and QA compliance
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and retaining high-performing teams
• Experience with a major hotel PMS (IHG systems, Opera, or similar)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead calmly under pressure
• Hands-on, guest-first mentality - willing to be on the floor when it matters
