UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Day Shift Hospitalist APP at our UNC Health Blue Ridge Main Hospital in Morganton, NC. HIGHLIGHTS • Medical Practice within a rural community. • Access to a broad scope of specialist within UNC Health Blue Ridge Network • A well respected organization in the community and across the state • On Average 15 Shifts a month QUALIFICATIONS Education Requirements: • Completion of an accredited graduate -level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program. • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. • Board certification if required by the Department Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: • 2+ years of inpatient experience - New Grads will be considered • Feel comfortable with admits • Demonstrates clinical competency • Preventive Care • Management of Acute and Chronic health issues • Strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Demonstrates written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. • Effective interaction and care of patients • Documentation of medical records for accurate billing Compensation: • Competitive Salary plus incentives • Health insurance and Retirement Plans • Paid time off • Moving expense/ Stipend • CME Reimbursement If you have questions about this opportunity or others please reach out to Chloe' Pilgrim, Provider Recruiter [redacted]
