Landmark Hospitals of Joplin is seeking an experienced post-acute Chief Executive Officer to lead our facility into its next chapter. This is a rare opportunity to take a smoothly operating, well-regarded LTACH from
good to GREAT - with the autonomy to shape strategy and the hands-on involvement to execute it.
As CEO, you'll own regulatory compliance, patient and employee satisfaction, and the organization's financial and operational success, while caring for some of the most medically complex patients in the region.
What You'll Do- Set strategy and drive accountability for hospital operations in line with Landmark Hospitals' policies and standards
- Own financial performance - overseeing collections, expenditures, and cash flow optimization
- Ensure the facility is safe, sound, and appropriately insured against risk
- Build upon strong referral relationships with partner and host hospitals to grow admissions and community synergy
- Recruit, develop, and engage a team focused on delivering excellent patient care
- Maintain key relationships across the hospital, corporate leadership, and the broader community
- Serve as the liaison between the Board of Directors and Medical Staff, supporting medico-administrative needs
- Represent the hospital in relationships with other healthcare organizations and the community at large
What You BringCEO Core competencies:- Strategic vision paired with strong execution and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of hospital operations, the healthcare industry, and market trends
- Fluency in Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurer compliance and reimbursement
- Financial analysis and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Executive presence, with experience partnering with C-suite hospital leaders (CFO, CMO, COO, etc.)
- Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills with all levels of staff
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Clinical background a plus
- 5+ years of progressive management experience (10+ years of senior healthcare leadership preferred)
- 3+ years of experience operating a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) and/or Acute Rehabilitation Units
