Job Details

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for overseeing enterprise account management within the assigned channel, driving company growth by building strategic relationships and expanding partnerships with existing contracted and high-potential organizations. This role will be a crucial individual contributor for the team and must bring strong collaboration and communication skills. The Strategic Account Manager will partner with key decision-makers in leadership, effectively demonstrating the value of AnewHealth’s solutions, increasing referrals, and driving year-over-year growth across assigned accounts through relationship building, education, strategic programs and other initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies, tactics, and solutions to ensure the overall success and year-over-year growth of assigned accounts across all regions. Partner with leadership to understand specific needs, inform strategy, and identify potential service expansion opportunities.

  • Stimulate, surface, and shape demand for AnewHealth’s solutions within the target market.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive maximum utilization and engagement within assigned organizations.

  • Track key performance indicators to monitor referral volume, program utilization, market penetration, and outcomes.

  • Conduct client visits (virtual and in-person) to maintain strong partnerships, address evolving needs, and uncover opportunities.

  • Attend and participate in industry conferences and events to build relationships, represent AnewHealth, and share our value proposition with prospective and current partners.

  • Share insights and feedback from client interactions to help refine and improve internal workflows and service delivery.

  • Support onboarding and implementation efforts for new health plan clients and referral programs.

  • Stay current on healthcare policy, payor trends, and managed care initiatives to guide account strategy.

  • Ensure HIPAA and all applicable regulatory guidelines are followed in all communications and activities.

Education

  • Required:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or other health related field.

Experience

  • Required: 7+ years of experience in account management and/or sales ideally with post-acute health care organizations (e.g. home health, hospice, PACE, LTAC), Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or other managed care organizations.

Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with the health system, including management workflows, risk-bearing models, and payor-provider collaboration.

  • Full understanding of the health market partnerships, including key thought leaders and how to best connect/align with them

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey ideas, manage change, and deliver value

Schedule:  This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

Travel:  Travel will be determined at the discretion of the Strategic Account Manager and client needs. Travel may be required for client meetings, conferences, or Growth team events. Estimated travel is approximately 25%, but may vary depending on partnership activity and client or business priorities.

This is a remote position.
