Job Summary:

Navarro & Wright Consulting Engineers, Inc. is an established MBE/DBE firm providing full spectrum civil engineering and related services in the Mid-Atlantic region. Established in 1996, we have been ranked as one of the top engineering firms in Central PA for several years. We use the latest technology and methodologies to exceed our client expectations.

We are looking for a Highway Engineer to join our team in Central PA! In this important role, you will be responsible for establishing quality and reliability standards for areas of transportation related services. This role will report to the Director of Transportation and will primarily design and manage PennDOT and PTC projects.

Schedule:

Full-time - 40 hours a week.

You will be able to work remotely and take advantage of our flextime policy. Attendance at field meetings located in Central and Eastern PA may be required.

Salary Range:

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Broad range for the position is: $85,000 to $ 120,000.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Designs and manages PennDOT and PTC projects.
  • Prepares and/or reviews construction plans, signing and pavement marking, traffic control and E&S plans.
  • Prepares or reviews design and quantity calculations.
  • Assists with utility coordination tasks.
  • Prepares scope and prices for PennDOT and PTC transportation projects, as well as for private clients, construction firms, government entities and other engineering firms.
  • Maintains and/or directs actions to maintain good client relations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Minimum of 8 years of experience and is a currently Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  2. Valid Driver's License
