Overview

Our Management and Information Technology Practice Group (MITG) is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Program Director. You should have experience managing large teams and efforts to implement large-scale ERP solutions. It is preferred that the candidate filling this position be located in New Mexico. For the right candidate, traveling to Albuquerque, New Mexico 50% of the time may be acceptable.

 

You will apply your knowledge and experience to support our higher education client in implementing its large-scale Oracle Cloud transformation program. This role provides executive leadership for the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, including ERP/Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and related Oracle modules.

 

The Program Director bridges executive leadership, governance bodies, and implementation teams to ensure alignment between institutional strategy and program execution. The role is responsible for governance, organizational change leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication, adoption, risk management, and overall program success. The successful candidate will navigate a highly matrixed environment, build consensus among diverse stakeholders, and help establish sustainable operational and governance models for the future.

 

Travel Expectations: Travel to client site can range up to 50%.

You Will

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the overall Oracle Cloud transformation program and translate executive vision into a cohesive enterprise modernization strategy.
  • Align program objectives with institutional priorities and strategic goals.
  • Foster enterprise-wide collaboration and adoption.
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure successful implementation and long-term sustainability of Oracle Cloud solutions.

Governance and Executive Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison to executive sponsors and governance committees.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures, decision-making processes, and escalation pathways.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, recommendations, and program updates.
  • Facilitate enterprise decision-making and consensus-building across stakeholder groups.

Program and Transformation Management

  • Lead enterprise transformation efforts encompassing organizational change management, communications, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption.
  • Ensure alignment of business process redesign efforts with leading practices.
  • Maintain program scope integrity across all workstreams and functional areas.
  • Manage enterprise risks, dependencies, and issue resolution activities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve enterprise outcomes.

Vendor and Financial Oversight

  • Provide executive oversight of implementation partners, system integrators, and software vendors.
  • Manage program financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, contract expenditures, and reporting.
  • Monitor program success metrics, adoption measures, and business value realization.
  • Support the transition from implementation to sustainable operational ownership and continuous improvement.
You Have
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience directly related to enterprise program leadership, transformation, or comparable responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success leading full lifecycle enterprise system implementations.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven success leading organizational change and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Strong program management, financial management, and risk management capabilities.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience within higher education or similarly complex organizations.
  • Experience leading Oracle implementations in higher education, healthcare, or other matrixed environments.
  • Experience overseeing programs that include Finance, HCM, Planning/Budgeting, or comparable enterprise workstreams.
  • Experience working with third-party implementation partners and system integrators.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including ERP, HCM, and EPM.
  • Experience leading enterprise business process transformation initiatives.
Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $100,000 – $x125,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
