Job DescriptionPosition Title: High-Pressure Fluids Test Operations Engineer
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct-hire High-Pressure Fluids Test Operations Engineer opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:- Plan and execute high-pressure gas operations including hydrogen handling and safety.
- Operate and maintain fluid systems for projectile, test stand, and launcher testing.
- Support the design and build of gas systems, test fixtures, and instrumentation.
- Collaborate on payload user guide development and testing protocols.
- Integrate instrumentation into projectile and test articles.
- Correlate simulation data with test results to validate models and tune designs.
- Maintain logs, test plans, and safety documentation for all operations.
Job Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred.
- 2-5 years experience in a hands-on test, operations, or R&D setting.
- Experience with high-pressure gas/fluid systems in excess of 500 psi in large volumes (hydrogen a strong plus).
- Familiarity with instrumentation, DAQ systems, and sensor calibration.
- Exposure to hydrogen safety, rocket test, or propulsion lab environments a bonus.
- Strong organizational and executional skills, including documentation and planning.
- Passion for learning, problem solving, and working as part of a fast-moving team.
Job Details:- Job Type: Full-time, Direct-Hire
- Salary Range: $110,000-150,000.
- Location: Alameda, CA (Onsite)
