Position Title: High-Pressure Fluids Test Operations Engineer

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct-hire High-Pressure Fluids Test Operations Engineer opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute high-pressure gas operations including hydrogen handling and safety.
  • Operate and maintain fluid systems for projectile, test stand, and launcher testing.
  • Support the design and build of gas systems, test fixtures, and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate on payload user guide development and testing protocols.
  • Integrate instrumentation into projectile and test articles.
  • Correlate simulation data with test results to validate models and tune designs.
  • Maintain logs, test plans, and safety documentation for all operations.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred.
  • 2-5 years experience in a hands-on test, operations, or R&D setting.
  • Experience with high-pressure gas/fluid systems in excess of 500 psi in large volumes (hydrogen a strong plus).
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, DAQ systems, and sensor calibration.
  • Exposure to hydrogen safety, rocket test, or propulsion lab environments a bonus.
  • Strong organizational and executional skills, including documentation and planning.
  • Passion for learning, problem solving, and working as part of a fast-moving team.

Job Details:

  • Salary Range: $110,000-150,000.
  • Location: Alameda, CA (Onsite)
