Job Description
Fast-paced, versatile, clean and professional shop located in St. John's Newfoundland is seeking an equally knowledgeable and organized Licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join the team. Excellent pay, training, growth, hours, benefits and support come to a Heavy Equipment Technician willing and able to excel both in the field and the shop, offering top quality repairs and customer service/communication alike.

Compensation

$38.00 - $48.00/hour to start. Benefits available after 90 days include:

Schedule

Day Shift, Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm OR Afternoons. Must be able to be on-call rain, snow or shine.

Requirements

  • Valid Red Seal Certification & Driver's License
  • Knowledgeable in Caterpillar, Cummins, Komatsu, CASE, Kobelco, John Deere, Hitachi, Terex, etc.
  • Daily duties include inspections and PM services to full overhauls of Engines, Undercarriage, Hydraulics, A/C, Exhaust, Brakes, Transmissions, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting
