Role Summary

Baker Tilly's Healthcare Managed Services segment seeks a Healthcare Managed Services Solution Lead to design, institutionalize, and govern the solution development process for this business line.

This role is accountable for building the solution engine - defining how solutions are developed, ensuring methodological rigor, reviewing and approving all solution constructs, and guiding the Solution Architecture team.

The Solution Lead serves as the quality and governance authority for all healthcare managed services pursuits.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design & Institutionalize the Solution Process
  • Define the end-to-end solution lifecycle (intake → discovery → design → financial modeling → governance → submission).
  • Establish standardized templates and artifacts (scope documents, operating model frameworks, SLA libraries, pricing model structures).
  • Create repeatable design methodologies tailored to healthcare administrative services.
  • Implement quality gates and review checkpoints across the pursuit lifecycle.
  • Ensure scalability and avoid constructs that increase operational risk.


2. Solution Governance & Model Approval
  • Review and approve all solution models before internal risk and partner review.
  • Validate scope clarity, delivery feasibility, workforce assumptions, transition plans, automation assumptions, and risk identification.
  • Ensure alignment between operating model design and financial modeling assumptions.
  • Provide corrective guidance and require refinement before advancement.
  • Serve as the final solution authority before executive approval forums.


3. Leadership of Solution Architecture Function
  • Guide and mentor Solution Architects within the healthcare managed services segment.
  • Establish standards for process mapping, documentation quality, and design rigor.
  • Drive consistency and reuse across pursuits.
  • Build and maintain a repository of reusable solution components and benchmarks.


4. Strategic & Commercial Input
  • Provide input on pricing structures and commercial constructs.
  • Advise leadership on the scalability implications of proposed pricing models.
  • Offer perspective on solution feasibility to inform segment strategy refinement.


Qualifications
  • 12+ years in healthcare operations, managed services, or solution design.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Deep understanding of payer and provider business functions (e.g., claims, enrollment, utilization management, revenue cycle, care management administration).
  • Strong knowledge of cross-industry corporate functions, including Finance & Accounting (F&A), Human Resources (HR), and other shared services models.
  • Experience designing and reviewing multi-year administrative service engagements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in validating operating models and solution financial assumptions.
  • Experience mentoring solution architecture teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operational and regulatory environments.

The pay rate range for this job position is $116,000 to $345,330,. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
