Primary Responsibilities:- Provide claims, premium, capitation and membership data in support of underwriting, Actuarial and various other departments
- Identify potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies
- Create and update automated processes
- Analyze reporting tools utilized by the internal customer groups
- Produce and review reports specific to risk adjustment for various markets
Accountabilities:- Has a minimal to moderate level of experience, which is often obtained from training or standard work settings. Requires help when performing this competency in non-standard situations
- Primary role is Developmental to include:
- Focus is on developing through on-the-job experience
- Understands and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, and issues related to this competency

Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience working with relational databases
- 1+ years of health care experience working with claims data and medical codes
- 1+ years of experience in analytics and working with large data sets
Preferred Qualifications:- Intermediate level of proficiency in performing data analytics
- Beginner level proficiency with SQL
- Intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulae, calculations, charts, and graphs
- Proven solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proven comfortable in interactions with various levels of management
- Proven self-motivated to prioritize work on multiple complex assignments
- Proven ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively
- Proven ability to learn quickly and produce high-quality work

The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
