Overview Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work at local school sites approximately one to three days per week, with remaining workdays performed remotely. Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel to offsite locations is available in accordance with organizational policy.
Candidates must be based in the SONOMA COUNTY/SAN FRANCISCO BAY Area to accommodate required onsite visits to local schools.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Health Services & Behavioral Research Associate II under the supervision of the Research Associates/Research Managers, recruits project participants and administers structured and/or interview survey materials. May be responsible for data collection, data entry, and/or study documentation. May be responsible for coordinating small research and evaluation projects and staff. Duties are performed with supervision, feedback and guidance from principal investigators. May be responsible for tracking study participants throughout the project life.
The Health Science & Behavioral Research Associate II supports the day-to-day implementation of research protocols across
Sonoma County school sites, coordinating participant visits, collecting and maintaining study data, and assisting with project operations. This role also collaborates with students, teachers, and staff to promote youth engagement in science, health, and sleep wellness initiatives while serving as a key resource for study-related activities and communications.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience Required:- 2+ years of qualitative and/or quantitative interviewing experience required.
Preferred:- Experience using CASI interviewing tools preferred. Experience working with children, youth, and families preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent. College education in related discipline preferred.

Pay Scale Information $71,760.00-$92,144.00CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
