JOB INFORMATION

JOB SUMMARY

Provides a broad range of safety, health, training, and compliance services to field operations and company leadership. Advances the prevention of occupational injuries through field observations and inspections, hazard identification, risk mitigation, training development and implementation, incident and close call investigation, safety data analysis, safety and operational assessments, application of industry best practices and advancements, etc. Monitors compliance with Federal, State, Local and Company regulations and procedures.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
• General responsibilities with standardized processes. Works under limited supervision. Resolves routine questions and problems. Refers the more complex issues to higher levels. Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job. Some latitude for deviation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Advises leadership on health, safety, and environmental risk mitigation issues.
• Performs a wide range of duties associated with the investigation of Health and Safety, Environmental, and Operational incidents, including but not limited to; appropriate reported, investigation, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Audits wide range of business unit processes are procedures.
• Performs spill response evaluation & notification to environmental operations.
• Analyzes KPIs and provide periodic reports on performance and makes recommendations for corrective actions that drive necessary improvements.
• Works in a partnership capacity with all members of the business unit to drive the timely completion of corrective actions.
• Develops and implements Health and Safety standards, procedures, and training programs that reduce risk exposure.
• Performs hazard identification and mitigation activities.
• Inspects company facilities and work sites and, where needed, recommends corrective actions to ensure compliance to established Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related field and 2 years occupational health and safety experience. Or
• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years occupational health and safety experience. Or
• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of directly related operational experience. Or
• High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of directly related operational experience.

Preferred Qualification:

This position will service the Oklahoma City metro area. Proximity to this assigned location is preferred to be within one hour reporting time.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Use of personal vehicle may be required for travel.
• May be required to lift fifty (50) pounds or more.
• May require travel.
• May be required to work non-standard work schedules.
• May be required to work at heights up to and exceeding thirty (30) feet, underground and in confined spaces.
• May be exposed to stressful and hazardous conditions and inclement weather.
• May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.

SPECIAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
• Member is required to drive in order to perform their job duties. Member is assigned a company vehicle and/or member must drive a company and/or personal vehicle to complete company business at least 50% of time.

$72,280 - $96,366
