It also oversees the lifecycle of patient records-both electronic and paper-ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, accessibility, and proper retention. The Health Information Manager is responsible for monitoring and auditing health information systems and processes to ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance, and supports investigations related to health records incidents and patient concerns. Serving as a subject matter expert, this role advises on documentation standards, information access and disclosure, and data governance, and leads responses to audits and legal requests while supporting compliant information sharing across systems and partners. The position also contributes to organizational initiatives, including immunization compliance efforts, training programs, and cross-functional committees.
