About the roleWe are looking for an experienced individual to lead the tax team for the Americas region. As Head of for Americas, you will be responsible for overseeing the corporate income tax, as well as sales & use tax compliance for the region and providing tax advice and support to the business. This includes:
- Leading the Americas tax function, partnering with business and finance leaders to ensure tax considerations are appropriately managed across commercial activities, strategic initiatives and organizational changes.
- Providing tax leadership on business projects, restructurings and expansion activities, working with Group Tax, Treasury and Customs and wider Finance teams to deliver aligned tax solutions.
- Overseeing all direct and indirect tax compliance obligations across the region, ensuring the timely review, filing and payment of taxes.
- Managing tax provisions, tax disclosures and related reporting for Group and local statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements.
- Managing tax audits, enquiries and disputes, working with local teams and external advisors to protect the Group's interests and ensure compliance with Group policies.
- Driving continuous improvement of tax processes, controls and governance frameworks to enhance compliance, efficiency and risk management
- Monitoring tax legislative and regulatory developments, assessing business impacts and implementing required changes.
- Building and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders, external advisors and outsourced providers to support the delivery of the regional tax agenda.
About you- Educated to degree level or equivalent, with an accounting and/or tax qualification.
- 12+ years' experience in public accounting and/or corporate environment
- Strong technical and operational direct and indirect tax experience, including US state tax requirements
- Proven record of managing large compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ability to partner with and to hold to account external advisors.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Proven ability to build relationships across the business, lead people and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, ever-changing environment.

Salary: $188,800- $236,000 annually + bonus opportunity#LI-ONSITE
