Full Job Description
Position Summary
This leader designs countrywide hiring plans and oversees full-cycle recruitment across a range of commercial insurance roles. The role also sharpens recruiting metrics and analytics in tandem with the systems and data the organization utilizes. Standards and policies set by this leader will build, guide, and transform the Talent Acquisition team to identify high-caliber talent and deliver consistent, effective hires across MSIG's business units. The role partners closely with senior leadership-including Finance, Marketing, and Business Unit leaders-and provides regular reports and analytics to the CHRO, CFO, and CEO on position requests, staffing budgets, and outcomes. MSIG USA represents an environment which is very similar to a start-up operation with the exception of: 40 years in the US market; almost $2B premium written in 2025; 4 licenses (both admitted and non-admitted); AMBest A+ rating.

Major Responsibilities

Talent Strategy & Employer Brand
• Build and evolve MSIG's enterprise hiring strategies and employer-branding plans.
• Partner with Marketing to amplify MSIG's value proposition; leverage social platforms and networks to reach passive talent.
• Develop university-relations programs (faculty engagement, info sessions, career fairs) to create early-career pipelines.
Recruiting Operations & Governance
• Lead full-cycle recruiting across business units; ensure a consistent, best-in-class process and candidate experience in partnership with HR and business partners.
• Establish policies, procedures, best practices, and workflows for the recruiting organization; train hiring managers on process and compliance.
• Drive process redesign and introduce innovative technology enhancements to improve the candidate and manager experience.
• Provide stewardship of the ATS in addition to defining metrics, report dashboards, and analyzing funnel data to drive continuous improvement.
• Work with Finance and Business Unit leaders to track open and filled opportunities and staffing budgets, providing quarterly readouts to the CHRO, CFO, and CEO.

Team Leadership
• Manage the recruiting team's daily activities; coaching, developing, and elevating recruiter performance.
• Set clear performance expectations, foster accountability, service orientation, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Sourcing & Offers
• Partner with business leaders to craft workforce plans, role-specific sourcing strategies; diversify channels to strengthen representation and inclusion.
• Provide compensation guidance to hiring managers; ensure offers are competitive and aligned with internal

Experience
• 15 years of progressive experience spanning execution and the design/scaling of an organization's structure and hiring processes.
• Ability to transform the capabilities of the broader Talent Acquisition team and ensures a consistent, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers across business units.
