About the job
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
As the Head for RCS for Business Partnerships, you will be the premier architect, people leader, and commercial driver for the next generation of mobile conversational commerce. With a primary, high-priority focus on accelerating the US market while steering broader activities across the Americas (and other parts of the world), Google is fundamentally transforming consumer-to-business interaction through Rich Communication Services (RCS) across both Android and iOS devices. You will manage a high-performing team of partner managers and own the region's long-term commercial trajectory, ecosystem health, and facilitate agreements frameworks required to establish RCS as the common high-engagement business-to-consumer messaging channel in the US.

In this role, you will navigate a high-stakes, deeply consolidated, and rapidly evolving domestic communications ecosystem. You will lead your team and personally engage with executive leadership across AI-native botbuilders, major Martech platforms, Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) providers, and the world's largest enterprise brands. You will architect the commercial models, pricing strategies, and policy environments required to scale the ecosystem sustainably. You will serve as the primary organizational bridge between US market realities and global product, engineering, and business leadership to scale the business.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
