About the Role143 Studios is looking for a Head of Social to lead the next evolution of how Mel Robbins shows up across social media.
With more than 40 million followers across platforms, social is one of the most important ways people discover and connect with Mel's work. We're looking for someone who can bring together big creative thinking, deep platform expertise, and strong operational leadership to build a social presence that feels distinctive, relevant, and constantly evolving.
You'll lead the teams responsible for social content and operations, while partnering closely with the Community team to connect social strategy with the conversations, insights, and relationships happening across Mel's audience.
What You'll Be DoingSet the Vision for Social- Define and lead the social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and other emerging platforms.
- Guide social creators in turning podcast episodes, brand initiatives, and cultural moments into compelling social content.
- Identify emerging trends, formats, and audience behaviors that create opportunities for growth and experimentation.
Build a Social Operation That Moves- Oversee the planning, creation, packaging, approval, and publishing of social content across platforms.
- Build clear workflows, ownership, and operating rhythms across the social organization.
- Partner with Production and Content to plan social assets earlier in the creative and production process.
Turn Performance Into Smarter Content- Use analytics to inform content strategy, creative decisions, platform priorities, and experimentation.
- Share audience insights and performance trends with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Continuously test and optimize formats, packaging, cadence, and distribution strategies.
Lead the Team & Connect the Organization- Establish clear roles, expectations, and accountability across the social team.
- Partner closely with Community, Content, Production, Marketing, and Brand Partnerships to integrate social strategy across the organization.
- Work with the Community team to ensure audience feedback and insights help inform social strategy and content decisions.
- Build a culture that balances creativity, experimentation, collaboration, and strong execution.
Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in social media, digital content, or audience development, including experience leading teams.
- Proven experience developing social strategy for a major creator, personality, media company, publisher, or consumer brand.
- Deep understanding of major social platforms, algorithms, audience behavior, and emerging trends.
- Demonstrated success growing and engaging large audiences through creative and platform strategy.
- Strong creative instincts paired with an analytical, data-informed approach.
- Experience building social workflows, systems, and high-performing teams.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
- Solutions-driven, collaborative, curious, and able to move quickly without ego.
