Job DescriptionSummaryLead the North American Pharma Liquid service business to achieve strategic growth and operational excellence while directing the regional Service Sales team in contract management, sales support, and cross-border business development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the regional Service Sales function to achieve state-of-the-art performance in both volume and operational excellence.
- Lead the team to manage the full service sales lifecycle - from initial customer contact through ongoing, sustainable service contract support for the product's lifetime - ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Own the regional services order intake target; perform regular performance reviews, prepare strategic reports, and track key metrics to enable data-driven decision making.
- Drive business development and growth initiatives in collaboration with regional service operations to maximize contract sales revenue and margin.
- Manage a regional team of Service Sales Managers, ensuring delivery of client-focused solutions and overseeing their professional development.
- Administer customer and agent contracts, including NDAs, ensuring compliance and timely execution; coordinate on regional key accounts with the Key Account Leader.
- Oversee service representation at trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and market positioning.
QualificationsBasic Requirements- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 10+ years of sales management experience in capital equipment
- 5+ years leading and developing sales teams and driving organizational change.
- Willing to travel 40% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industrial equipment and the service value propositions for this market segment, including service business models and related processes.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, focused, and able to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Operations) in a global environment.
- Proficient with CRM, ERP, PLM, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Power BI).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional InformationThe anticipated base salary for this position ranges from 170k-200k annually plus bonus.
