Full Job Description
Abridge is seeking a Head of Privacy to lead and scale its privacy and data governance program at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and product innovation. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for guiding privacy strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enabling responsible innovation as Abridge continues to grow.

The Head of Privacy will serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior leadership and collaborate closely with Security, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. The role involves providing practical, risk-based guidance on privacy laws related to AI, clinical data, and product development, as well as building and operationalizing privacy programs aligned with HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, biometric privacy laws, and emerging state regulations. Responsibilities include managing regulator discussions, supporting data sharing and governance, monitoring evolving privacy and AI regulations, and maintaining privacy policies and training materials.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of experience in privacy leadership roles within health tech or technology-focused environments, deep knowledge of healthcare privacy frameworks, and a proven ability to lead teams and programs that ensure compliance and enable innovation.
