Role OverviewThe Integrated Planning Lead serves as the Head of Operations for the Smart Mobility Platform. In this role, you will align every function against a single integrated plan and serve as the direct accountability interface to executive leadership. This is a senior role on a lean team-meaning you will be both the strategic owner and the hands-on operator who builds the dashboards, drives the schedule, writes governance memos, and synthesizes program health into executive decisions. This is a hybrid position.
What You'll Do- Build & Own Cross-Functional Operations: Create the integrated operating plan from the ground up-spanning software development, hardware deployment, QA, marketing, commercialization, resourcing, and go-to-market. Partner across leadership to establish shared standards and elevate software delivery governance.
- Drive Outcomes Through Governance: Stand up a governance model that produces clear decisions and surfaces risks early. Define and personally build the operational dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that track delivery performance. Own the decision log, risk register, and change control process.
- Own the Full Release Lifecycle: Drive every release from integrated planning through go-live and post-launch stabilization. Coordinate software, hardware, QA, and commercial readiness as a single sequenced operation. Issue evidence-based go/no-go recommendations.
- Align Commercial & Go-to-Market Readiness: Partner with marketing and commercialization to sequence go-to-market readiness (pricing approvals, contract execution, customer onboarding) against the core delivery plan from day one.
- Serve as the Executive Interface: Deliver clear, decision-ready reporting to Program Leadership regarding risks, decisions, and commitments. Sign off on schedule feasibility for all roadmap proposals and maintain a direct escalation path for governance breakthroughs or schedule integrity issues.
What You'll Bring- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or Operations required. MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Operational Experience & Builder Mentality: 8-12 years of operations, BizOps, or program leadership experience in cross-functional environments spanning product, engineering, and commercial functions. Proven track record of building structure in early-stage, fast-paced, or resource-constrained environments.
- Senior Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional presence and the ability to operate as a peer and strategic advisor to senior leadership. Comfortable holding stakeholders accountable to commitments without relying on organizational authority.
- Hands-On Execution: A willingness to personally build dashboards, manage tracking tools, and write executive summaries. Ability to fluidly synthesize complex, multi-threaded data into clean, decision-ready executive views.
- Governance & Operational Rigor: Proven ability to build highly functional integrated schedules, risk registers, and change control processes. Strong instinct for tracking both leading and lagging metrics honestly.
- Commercial & Infrastructure Fluency: Understanding of how marketing, pricing, and customer onboarding connect to delivery milestones. Familiarity with managing hardware procurement, site readiness, or physical deployment dependencies alongside software milestones is highly valued. (Background in government technology, smart mobility, or regulated infrastructure is a strong plus).
Why This Role MattersYou won't just own a single workstream-you'll build the operating system that makes every workstream perform from scratch. Your work determines whether TransCore's Smart Mobility Platform reaches the market with the schedule credibility, commercial readiness, and operational integrity that global customers demand. You will operate at real-world scale, where infrastructure decisions affect cities and release decisions impact millions of daily trips.
