Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Head of Kit Boxing within the Standard Quoting organization for Compression Service in North America, you will lead the team responsible for developing and maintaining standardized service and repair kits that support the sales and quoting process. Your day may include coaching team members, reviewing workflow priorities, resolving escalations, analyzing sales and service data, and partnering with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Line Management, and Parts Management to ensure kit solutions are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs. This role combines people leadership, operational execution, and strategic product/process improvement to help streamline quoting and deliver value to our customers.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead, coach, develop and support a team responsible for selling and executing Kit Box projects across the Compression Service business.
  • Own overall Kit Box program performance for the entire lifecycle including fleet growth, customer satisfaction and operational performance metrics
  • Partner with sales organizations to identify new business opportunities, expand customer programs and drive customer retention and growth through proactive account management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Kit Box team, resolving escalations and supporting effective communication and collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Repairs, Field Service and Parts Management.
  • Analyze sales data, service history, customer needs, and technical specifications to define, improve, and strategically manage new and existing parts kits.
  • Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and best practices for the Kit Box lifecycle while leading initiatives to streamline the kit definition, quoting, and fulfillment / replenishment processes.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field; equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5-8 years of experience in parts management, technical product management, service operations, program management, or a related operational role within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level position.
  • Preferred leadership or management experience with responsibility for team performance, workflow management, coaching, accountability, and operational execution.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data, sales trends, service history, and technical information to support decision-making and business improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, manage customer-focused priorities, and support value proposition development.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing business processes, and supporting operational product strategy in a technical or industrial environment.

The base salary range for this position if based in Olean, New York is $76,800- $121,100 and the annual incentive target is 10-15% of base salary.
