Head of Identify Access Management (IAM)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Own the strategy, development and continued maturation of the enterprise IAM program.
  • Establish the policies, governance, standards and operating model required to manage identity securely at scale.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise IAM roadmap in partnership with cybersecurity, technology and business leadership.
  • Lead Identity Governance and Administration initiatives, including lifecycle management, access certification, role-based access and entitlement management.
  • Drive the adoption and continued development of Privileged Access Management.
  • Oversee authentication, authorization, directory services and identity integrations across legacy and cloud environments.
  • Advance automation for provisioning, deprovisioning and access management.
  • Manage internal resources, vendor teams and managed-security partners while ensuring accountability to SLAs and program objectives.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting and training programs to measure performance and maturity.
  • Investigate complex identity-related incidents and lead corrective action.
  • Serve as the senior IAM advisor to executives, project teams, developers and technology leaders.
HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY
  • 10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience with significant ownership of Identity & Access Management.
  • Proven experience building, transforming or materially maturing an enterprise IAM program.
  • Previous leadership experience within a large or complex enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ownership of both IAM strategy and execution.
  • Strong experience across IGA, PAM, authentication, authorization, directory services and identity lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading IAM within an Azure or cloud-first environment.
  • Ability to operate credibly with executives while maintaining the technical depth required to challenge architects, engineers and vendors.
  • Experience managing sizable internal teams, external vendors and managed-service providers.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance, architecture, operations, risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex identity topics into business impact.
  • This role requires a proven IAM leader who has successfully done this work before-not an emerging leader stepping into enterprise ownership for the first time.
