Full Job Description
About the Role

This is a zero-to-one growth leadership role at an early-stage AI healthtech company that automates the full payer compliance lifecycle - benefits verification, medical necessity, prior authorization, and appeals - purpose-built for procedural specialties. You'll work directly with the founding team to build and own the go-to-market motion targeting medical device OEMs, defining ideal customer profiles, and closing the company's first enterprise accounts. If you thrive in ambiguous, high-ownership environments and have deep roots in medical device reimbursement, this role was designed for you.
What You'll Do
  • Source OEM leads and cultivate relationships across market access and reimbursement teams at medical device companies.
  • Run structured discovery sessions to map OEM workflows and identify where the platform creates value.
  • Define and refine the ideal customer profile (ICP) and build a repeatable, scalable sales playbook for OEM partnerships.
  • Own OEM accounts end-to-end - from first outreach through signed contract and ongoing account management.
  • Represent the company at key industry conferences and build community partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Research adjacent opportunities across procurement, market access intelligence, and reimbursement infrastructure.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product and commercial teams to translate OEM needs into roadmap and go-to-market priorities.
What We're Looking For

Required:
  • 4-7 years of experience working within medical device companies, with direct involvement in go-to-market and reimbursement-related initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience in reimbursement or market access - this is a dealbreaker requirement.
  • Deep understanding of the OEM ecosystem: how decisions get made, who holds budget, and how reimbursement risk translates to commercial outcomes.
  • Proven track record sourcing OEM leads and managing accounts from first call to signed contract.
  • Based in New York City and able to work hybrid (in-person as needed), with willingness to travel to industry conferences.

Strongly Preferred:
  • Experience in endovascular, cardiovascular, or interventional radiology specialties.
  • Cross-functional exposure spanning market access, reimbursement, supply chain, and R&D.
  • Comfortable actively leveraging AI tools in your day-to-day workflow.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $130,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Equity: Meaningful equity stake in an early-stage company.
  • Please note: visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location

This role is based in New York City, NY and operates on a hybrid schedule. Some travel to industry conferences is expected.
