JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a team focused on delivering innovative servicing solutions for Private Bank clients across North America. The team partners across Business, Operations, Technology, and Control functions to support private equity and venture capital fund activities through scalable operating models and automation.

As the Fund Distribution Servicing Lead within the Private Bank, you will lead the buildout and ongoing delivery of an in-kind distribution service model for PE/VC clients across North America. This role shapes and scales the organization (target 7-person team across relationship management and servicing) and leads the design and implementation of an automated end-to-end operating model. The role partners with dedicated project resources and cross-functional stakeholders across Business, Operations, Technology, and LRCC to deliver an automated, scalable operating model while applying industry expertise, best practices, and strong governance throughout implementation and stabilization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build, coach, and lead a team supporting client relationship management and servicing activities (target 7-person team).
  • Establish coverage models, capacity plans, operating procedures, and service standards.
  • Partner with dedicated project resources to define scope, target-state operating model, governance, roles and handoffs, SLAs, and escalation paths.
  • Lead cross-functional design and implementation of an automated workflow from fund kickoff through instruction management, processing, post-settlement monitoring, exception resolution, and closeout.
  • Translate industry best practices into executable procedures, controls, and standardized documentation.
  • Define tooling, data, and reporting needs, including workflow tracking, exception aging, and client/investor status transparency, and partner with Technology and Operations to deliver and embed solutions.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for complex events and external counterparty inquiries, including Funds, LPs, Fund Bankers, and Investors.
  • Establish operating metrics, including volume, timeliness, break rates, aging, and inquiry trends, and conduct regular performance reviews to guide actions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual touchpoints and increase straight-through processing, including leveraging AI-enabled workflows where appropriate.

     

    Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate 6 years of relevant industry experience with subject matter expertise in in-kind distributions and/or adjacent alternatives servicing, including equities transfer and settlement concepts, instruction governance, exception management, and control discipline.
  • Lead teams and deliver complex cross-functional operating model or process transformation initiatives.
  • Partner effectively with Technology and Operations teams to implement automation and workflow modernization solutions.
  • Apply strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Integrate AI-driven solutions into daily workflows.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree.
