We're looking for a
Development Operations Engineer (DevOps) to own and evolve the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability of our platform. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and easy to operate.
You'll help us balance startup agility with production-grade reliability-building systems that "just work" while continuously improving how we ship and operate software.
What You'll Do- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting our production and non-production environments
- Own CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security; proactively identify and fix issues
- Improve observability through logging, metrics, and alerting
- Manage infrastructure as code and configuration management
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve application reliability, performance, and scalability
- Support incident response and post-incident reviews, focusing on learning and continuous improvement
- Help establish lightweight best practices for security, backups, and disaster recovery
- Evaluate and introduce tools and services that make the team more effective
What We're Looking For- Experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-focused engineering role
- Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentals
- Ability to work independently, make trade-offs, and take ownership in a startup environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have- Experience working at a startup or small engineering team
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience supporting data-driven or SaaS applications
- Exposure to compliance or security standards (SOC 2, ISO, etc.)
