Full Job Description
  • The Director, Advisory Consulting is a Canada-based, French-speaking leadership role accountable for leading cybersecurity advisory consulting across North America.
  • The role helps clients define security strategy, improve risk posture, modernize security capabilities, and align cybersecurity investments with business priorities and regulatory expectations.
  • This director-level role provides strategic consulting leadership across Canadian and broader North American client executives, advisory teams, sales stakeholders, and delivery functions, ensuring engagements are positioned effectively, scoped appropriately, delivered with high quality, and translated into measurable client outcomes.
  • The Director manages a portfolio of cybersecurity advisory engagements across multiple domains, including security strategy, governance, risk and compliance, security architecture, identity and access management, cloud security, privacy, security operations transformation, and cyber resilience.
  • The role is accountable for consulting quality, executive-ready deliverables, engagement governance, risk management, client satisfaction, and the realization of advisory outcomes.
  • The position also carries significant leadership responsibility.
  • The Director leads, coaches, and develops cybersecurity advisory consultants and engagement leaders; supports workforce planning, capacity management, recruitment, and onboarding; and drives the development of consulting skills, methodologies, reusable assets, and market-relevant capabilities that strengthen the advisory practice.
  • In parallel, the Director serves as a senior advisory leader for clients across North America, building trusted executive relationships, supporting French-speaking clients and stakeholders where required, understanding business, risk, and security priorities, shaping strategic recommendations, managing stakeholder expectations, resolving escalations, and helping clients translate cybersecurity objectives into practical roadmaps and actionable programs.
  • The Director contributes directly to the financial performance of the advisory practice through disciplined pipeline support, proposal contribution, engagement pricing input, margin oversight, utilization management, forecasting support, and the effective balancing of consulting quality, capacity, and profitability.
  • The role also plays an active role in shaping and growing the cybersecurity advisory practice across North America by bringing market insight, supporting business development and proposal activities, defining consulting offerings, developing thought leadership, establishing delivery standards, and aligning advisory capabilities with industry best practices and the organization's strategic direction.
  • This role is critical to building a differentiated cybersecurity advisory consulting capability that delivers strategic value to clients and supports the continued growth of the practice.
  • It enables the organization to move from reactive or project-based consulting toward a structured, repeatable, and scalable advisory model that strengthens client confidence, improves security outcomes, develops consulting talent, and drives profitable growth.
