About the roleThe North America Business Unit represents the largest market for eBay Inc. and is the home to our Global Headquarters in San Jose. For the past 30 years eBay's business has been built on the foundation of our C2C sellers and buyers. We are reinvesting in C2C as a named strategic priority for 2026 and beyond.Joining the business as a Head of function you'll be accountable for the localisation strategies to deliver sustainable C2C growth in each market within the region, reporting into the Director of North America C2CWhat you will accomplish- P&L: Senior contributor to the financial and operating performance of eBay's C2C (consumer-to-consumer) marketplaces in the US and Canada
- Value Prop: Lead initiatives at eBay to grow C2C share by continuously improving our offerings, free structure &, experiences through influential projects and collaboration with peer teams
- Community: Engage with buyers & sellers to deepen our understanding of their needs and strengthen the broader buyer & seller community
- Execution: Partner with the Director of North America C2C to translate all go-to-market (GTM) activations into local execution within the US or Canada
- Partnerships: Build trust, build influence, collaborate & coordinate with cross-functional partners (e.g. marketing, product, GCX) to drive local C2C strategy whilst aligning with the global playbook
- Insights: Develop rigorous analysis and cases that drive key decisions, resource allocations, and corrective actions
- Leadership: Build followership to inspire partner teams of so that we drive great customer and business results in our C2C business, while modeling eBay DNA
- Reporting: Report key business and project metrics, craft strategic narratives, and serve as a sparring partner for the Director of North America C2C
- Market Intel: Serve as the subject matter expert on C2C trends across local customers and competitor
What you will bring:- Commercial: 5-7 yrs+ working on strategic development projects for a complex business with a focus on delivering growth of revenue/GMV
- Marketplaces: 5-7yrs+ in a fast paced ecommerce business with a focus on retail/consumer marketplaces
- Collaborative: Proven ability to partner effectively across a matrix, including leading change through alignment and influence
- Leadership: Able to demonstrate a track record of building followership that drives momentum across partner teams to execute complex problems.
- Customer Advocacy: Strong record of deeply engaging and understanding customers to champion their needs across a company
- Communication: Mastery of influencing others through clear and compelling written and verbal comms
- Driven: Operates with urgency, an intrinsic focus on making impact, and a sense of extreme ownership (especially when there is ambiguity)

Additional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$166,000 - $221,600
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
