As a Hardware Engineering Technician, a typical day might include the following:- Perform basic electronic hardware tests in accordance with defined engineering procedures or guidelines under the direction of engineers or more experienced technicians.
- Build engineering prototypes under the direction of an electrical engineer. Document prototype construction and maintain pertinent engineering records.
- Assist engineers in the evaluation of new electronic components.
- Design and assemble test fixtures and other components common to product development.
- Provide support to engineering staff as needed.
- Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) of modest complexity under the direction of engineers or more experienced technicians.
Required Qualifications- Two-year electronic technology or related associate degree
- Detail-oriented professional who enjoys board-level and system-level troubleshooting and performs in-depth analysis.
- You see yourself as an excellent troubleshooter who gets to the root cause on a self-directed basis with minimal external guidance.
- Proficient with the fundamentals of analog and digital circuits.
- Proficient with test equipment used in electronics labs.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with Python, C, or assembly languages
- Experience with Advanced Test Equipment, O.S., and computer equipment
- Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems

Pay Range Information: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour. Our salary ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
