Full Job Description
Position Summary

We are seeking an Health & Safety Specialist who support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Health & Safety Management System in the United States.
The role requires solid knowledge of U.S. H&S regulations (OSHA) and strong technical skills in risk assessment, job hazard analysis, and safety controls related to industrial and automation environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, State requirements, and applicable federal H&S standards in all assigned activities and sites.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Company Health & Safety Management System in line with internal standards and international best practices (e.g. ISO 45001).
  • Interface with authorities, clients, and external consultants (when required) on H&S matters.


Risk Assessment & Technical Safety

  • Perform and update Risk Assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and task-specific safety evaluations.
  • Identify hazards related to industrial installations, machinery, automated systems, warehouses, and on-site activities.
  • Define and implement preventive and protective measures, including engineering controls, procedures, and PPE.
  • Support accident/incident investigations and develop corrective and preventive actions.


Site Activities & Operations Support

  • Support project teams during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities from an H&S perspective.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and safety walks at customer and company sites.
  • Verify subcontractor and contractor H&S qualification and compliance with site safety rules.


Training & Awareness

  • Deliver or coordinate H&S training sessions (e.g. OSHA awareness, site safety rules, risk assessment procedures).
  • Promote safety culture through engagement of employees and supervisors.


Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain H&S records, reports, and KPI monitoring related to incidents, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety procedures and safe systems of work.
