GVP, Digital & Multimedia Communications
The Group Vice President, Digital & Multimedia Communications is responsible for leading the strategy, creative direction, and execution of integrated storytelling across Spectrum's owned communications platforms, including the Company website, Intranet, and select social media channels. This role drives a seamless, high-impact digital and multimedia experience for external audiences, including media, influencers, industry partners, customers, prospective employees and investors - as well as internal stakeholders. The GVP partners closely with Communications leadership and cross-functional teams to extend media impact and raise and strengthen brand awareness through elevated digital
storytelling.
Responsibilities
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads strategy for the Company's digital and multimedia Communications platforms, including content,
creative execution, and user experience.
• Oversees integrated storytelling across Company's corporate website, Intranet, video and select multimedia channels manages multimedia team, including all video & photography production, studio management, web design and related creative resources.
• Directs stories, campaigns, and product narratives across digital, video, and emerging social platforms.
• Ensures alignment between owned-channel content and Field Media Relations/Corporate Communication
teams' press initiatives.
• Serves as the primary digital and multimedia partner to Field Media Relations and Corporate Communications teams and leads creation of high-quality content for the Company website, social platforms, Intranet, and media relations support.
• Directs the development of multimedia assets (video, photography, infographics, and other visual storytelling elements) to augment/amplify press campaigns, including press releases, landing pages, product hubs, and executive messaging.
• Extends the value of earned media through repurposed content, including articles, blogs, vlogs, advertorials, and internal stories.
• Guides Communications' team social content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Optimizes content for distribution, amplification, and repurposing across web, social, and intranet channels.
• Maintains a consistent brand voice while tailoring content to platform, audience, and purpose.
• Leads real-time content operations for events, announcements, crisis communications, and executive visibility opportunities.
• Builds and manages a centralized Digital Asset Management system for internal and external assets.
• Partners with Field Media Relations/Corporate Comms to deliver broadcast-quality video, imagery, and
executive interview support.
• Uses analytics to evaluate channel performance, inform editorial strategy and campaign optimization.
• Collaborates with Media Relations, Internal Communications, Marketing, Government Affairs, HR, IT, and
Legal/Compliance to ensure alignment across communications.
• Amplifies press efforts through bespoke creative, strategic placement, and owned-channel distribution.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Demonstrated expertise in storytelling, writing, and editing across print, video, and social media.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt content for audience, platform, format, and tone.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, content quality, and output.
• Ability to direct /ghostwrite executive speeches, articles, and thought leadership content.
• Strong creative design capabilities and digital publishing experience.
• Strong editorial judgment with a newsroom mindset and communications sensibility.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical language and occasional financial reports.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Knowledge of cable products and services preferred.
• Knowledge of FCC procedures, public information requirements, and regulations affecting publicly traded
companies.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent work
experience.
