Full Job Description
What We Are Looking For

This position oversees the revenue and billing functions for the Gulf Liquids Region of the Terminals division.

What You Will Do
• Ensure the overall accuracy of revenue recognition and customer billing.
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the revenue accounting team and the processing of all revenue related transactions including:
-Review and analyze customer contracts with respect to proper revenue recognition, including verifying billing accuracy

and completeness.
-Review contract setup in CMS and Merlin.
-Ensure timely invoicing based on contract specifications.
-Monitor and review various contractual conditions such as Shortfall, Excess t-put, tanks out-of-service schedule and

adjust revenue recognition as needed.
• Responsible for monthly SOX related reporting.
• Understand KM's ASC 606 and 842 requirements and perform related analysis and disclosure.
• Perform monthly variance analysis on actual revenue when comparing to budget & forecast.
• Perform quarterly income statement and balance sheet flux analysis for auditors.
• Assist with internal and external auditors' requests as needed.
• Other routine task and special projects as assigned by Accounting Manager.
• Create and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
• Supervisory responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
• Reviews work completed by staff for accuracy and completeness.

What You Need
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of work experience in related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• CPA or MBA as well as Big 4 experience are pluses.
• Midstream accounting and contract review and analysis experience are pluses.
• Self-starter on new assignments. Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
• Strong PC skills with hands on knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with Lawson a plus.
• Excellent reconciliation / research skills.
• Strong organizational skills. Sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks on time and accurately.
• Overtime may be required at quarter/year-end or as needed, including holidays
