Guidewire Architect
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
12+ Years Overall | 10+ Years Hands on Guidewire experience (Recent)
Experience architecting large-scale Guidewire implementations and upgrades.
Strong knowledge of Guidewire Cloud / Insurance Suite architecture.
Extensive experience with Guidewire Integration Framework.
Expertise in REST APIs, SOAP Services, Messaging, JSON, XML, and event-driven integrations.
Strong knowledge of Gosu, Data Model, PCF, Rules Engine, Workflows, Activities, and Assignment Rules.
Experience integrating Claim Center, Policy Center, Billing Center, and third-party systems.
Deep understanding of P&C Insurance Claims Lifecycle.
Experience with Guidewire best practices, performance tuning, and modernization initiatives.
AWS cloud experience
Guidewire Certified Professional/ACE certification [Mandatory]
Able to work independently with minimal direction, but also participate in broader group discussions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Review current Guidewire landscape and provide architectural recommendations.
target-state architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.
Lead architecture reviews for claims modernization initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and performance improvements.
Establish Guidewire development standards, governance, and best practices.
Review integrations and recommend scalable architecture patterns.
Guide teams on Guidewire Cloud adoption and migration strategies.
Chosen candidates:
Will be added to an existing scrum team (Claims IS has 6 teams w/average of 6 team members)
Will be expected to attend stand-ups and selective ceremonies. (2-week sprints)
Will be expected to deliver high-priority stories/bugs from the teams backlog
Will be expected to begin contributing after short ramp-up period (consisting of on-boarding and introduction to customer processes and best practices).
Salary Range- $110,000-$130,000 a year
