Job Description

Overview of role

L.E.K. Consulting is hiring a Growth Operations Lead to serve as the operational engine of our US commercial growth function. This is a senior, newly created role for a highly experienced marketing and sales operations leader who is as fluent in AI and technology as they are in process design and people leadership.

You will be the CGO's right hand, owning how our Growth function plans, executes, and measures everything from GTM campaigns and content production to business development enablement, CRM and budget governance. You will lead a team that includes content production, a design and sales enablement shared services center, and CRM process and reporting. If you are someone who sees AI-driven automation not as a future ambition but as a present-day operating standard, this role was built for you.

Key responsibilities:

Operations, process & AI leadership

This is the most distinctive dimension of the role. We are looking for someone who has already built AI-enabled operations, not someone who wants to. You will help define what digitally-enabled marketing and sales operations looks like at L.E.K., and hold the function to that standard.
  • Serve as PMO for the US Growth function: own intake, prioritization, planning, and execution across all sector, service line, PE, and BD growth initiatives
  • Design and continuously evolve the operational infrastructure of the Growth function (e.g. workflows, intake processes, SLAs, activation standards, etc.)
  • Co-lead the function's AI and automation agenda w/the CGO: identify, implement, and drive adoption of AI-enabled tools across content development, campaign execution, BD enablement, and reporting
  • Act as a change leader - train teams on integrating AI and automation into daily operations and set the standard for what digitally-enabled marketing and sales enablement operations looks like at L.E.K.
  • Act as senior escalation point to resolve prioritization, capacity, and sequencing challenges across teams

Content, campaign & events execution

You will own the process by which content gets made and campaigns are activated, ensuring the fastest path to market, the right sequencing across channels, and that everything feeds BD activation.
  • Lead the content production team and own all content pipeline management, prioritizing what is produced and promoted, in what sequence, and how fast it reaches market; partner closely with the GTM leads to do so
  • Own end-to-end conference and events operations governance, including defining and monitoring a new conference registration and client outreach process for approximately 100 conferences annually
  • Ensure all content, campaign, and event activity feeds BD activation plans and is fully enabled for partner, BD, and account leader use
  • Establish and enforce activation standards so campaigns, events, and assets are converted into partner and BD-ready tools without delay (ex: ensure campaign list builds for GTM & BD outreach are managed seamlessly, efficiently and consistently)

Performance reporting & data

All reporting and measurement for the US Growth function sits here, teaming closely with the CGO. Together, you will develop reporting priorities and cadence, own the creation of reporting frameworks, review data and analytics, and ensure leadership and the Growth team have the insight they need to make fast, informed decisions.
  • Own all performance reporting for the US Growth function in partnership with the CGO (e.g. dashboards, attribution frameworks, campaign ROI, BD activity and revenue metrics, etc.)
  • Build attribution models linking marketing and sales activity to MD engagement, pipeline, and revenue impact; leverage AI-enabled analytics to improve insight generation
  • Ensure accurate tracking across Salesforce, Pardot, and related systems; automate recurring reporting and executive summaries to accelerate decision-making
  • Use data to drive prioritization and investment decisions across the Growth function; continuously improve data quality and useability

Budget, planning & people leadership

With the CGO, own financial and operational governance for the Growth function and manage team milestones that make execution possible.
  • Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for the Growth function, aligning business inputs with GTM and BD planning and execution milestones throughout the year
  • Own budget governance: forecasting, reconciliation, vendor contracts and invoice mgmt (w/legal & AP teams), spend tracking, and executive-ready financial reporting to Growth and Finance leadership
  • Directly manage content and events execution roles, the design and sales enablement shared services center resources, and CRM training and reporting
  • With CGO, set clear expectations for quality, accountability, and impact across the team; develop and grow direct reports

Qualifications

What sets the right candidate apart: demonstrated experience designing and implementing AI-enabled tools and automation in marketing, sales or GTM operations context, not as a pilot but as a sustained operating model. We are looking for someone who has already done this in the past 18-24 months, not someone who plans to.
  • 8-12 years of experience in marketing operations, GTM operations, sales operations or comparable enterprise program leadership in professional services or a similarly complex B2B environment
  • Proven experience operating at a senior level with process management, budget ownership and cross-functional authority
  • Strong command of GTM strategy, content marketing, digital marketing, events, and sales/business development enablement
  • Demonstrated ability to connect marketing and sales activity to business outcomes and revenue impact
  • Exceptional project management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills across senior audiences
  • Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in attribution modelling, dashboard design, and reporting & analytics
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (or other CRM), Pardot (or similar), Wrike (or similar), and Microsoft Office tools
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and senior stakeholders in a partnership-led organization
  • Bachelor's degree required; PMP or equivalent strongly preferred

Additional Information:
  • The expected base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • L.E.K. Consulting offers a competitive total rewards package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution, HSA contributions (where applicable), paid time off, and other firm-sponsored benefits.
  • This role is based in either our Boston or Chicago office and follows our hybrid work model for U.S. offices. We require employees to be in their assigned home office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, as well as the first Friday of each month.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
